Symptoms improve after removing sugar (besides raw fruit), salt and cooked fruit?

Can anyone explain? This is what has made my "yeast-overgrowth"-like symptoms go away, up until I consume more of this group: even natural sugar (honey, 100% maple syrup, raisins, etc.), salt (may or may not be a malefactor) and especially cooked fruit. For instance, for a about a week or two, I saw dramatic improvement after removing all of these from my diet. When I ate a fried plantain last night, there was no coincidence that my sleep went to only 6 hours for no reason when it had typically been 7-9 hours; additionally, allergies, rashes returned somewhat.

This makes alot of sense. I think I may also have kidney problems

Hi,

My two cents:

Ripe fried plantain have a glycemic index of 90, which is quite high. This rose your blood sugar, which probably made your 6 hours of sleep a 6 hours of low quality sleep. After those 6 hours or some hour or two before your blood sugar dropped quite fast and probably quite low. Your body responded with raising adrenalin and other adrenal hormones, to raise blood sugar back up. And this woke you up. It happens to me also often if do not take care of what I eat late at night.
