experience with Metametrix full GI test?

i have taken it and am looking for some further interpretation. if you've experience with this test, specifically the result: "Yeast/Fungi; taxonomy unavailable +4 => 100,000pg DNA/g specimen a taxonomy unavailable finding may indicate ingested mold. The higher the number, the greater the indication for treatment, particularly when accompanied by clinical symptoms."

when i took my urine toxic metals test i did have "high" levels of mercury relative to everything else, but not super high in the absolute sense. at that time i did have an amalgam filling, which has now been safely removed, so i expect i'm slowly chelating the remaining mercury out... but good to know and i'll look into it further

also perhaps the pluses may be different for the test that i took and the test as listed in the article link you posted. in the article he mentions a +5, which metametrix does not have, +4 being the upper limit. also it hasn't been absolutely verified that i have candida, it just says "yeast/fungus" with the mold caveat. perhaps thats a round-about way of saying "excessive candida"...

i dont know what you mean by sensitivity patterns. the metametrix full gi tests does not say anything like that. if you are talking about food sensitivities, then no, and most tests for those are bunk considering a person will respond sensitive too most of the foods they normally eat...

(FYI my sister lives in a mildly moldy house -- her results were only 2++ which is a CR*PLOAD, she has mercury/metals and yeasts apparently just love metals and esp mercurial environments)

yes, i know, i have had gut problems for years which is why i took this test and many others. this reading seems to be as accurate a target onto my problems as i've gotten so far. accurate, yet vague.

none of the above, i realized that anything might taint the test ans so did not wish to do so.

What had you been eating within before you had the test? Any foods containing yeast, mold of fungi?

Cheese, Mushrooms, Some alcoholic drinks, Femented foods like kefir or Dried fruit.

Did you get the sensitivity patterns?

4++++ is not a small amount... even if someone is breathing mold from dirty bathrooms (don't look at me) and eating 'shrooms... Everyone has yeasts and candida but if not in check the lab is 1+ or more from my understanding.
