Hi guys ! So I've heard about the Body By Science workout, but I wondered if somebody here did it at home with bodyweight exercises or even resistance bands ? Like push-ups, lunges or something like that ? Thanks !

If you follow the book, then you know it's all about reaching failure within a narrow window of time.

Most people can't do a single one-arm pushup (with proper form), but they can bust off a ton of pushups with both arms. So how to adjust the difficulty for something in between?

You can modify a one-armed pushup by placing fingers of the raised hand on the ground to make it easier. This will allow you to shift as much weight as you'd like on the arm you're working out.

You can use a similar strategy for one-legged squats (pistol squats). Put your hand, or just a couple fingers, on the back of a chair to help balance and raise yourself as much as needed.

Hope that helps!

you can try a slow pull-up until complete failure without any potential harm to yourself.
