i know, i know, not really paleo as such...
i was in a local shop the other day & saw some unflavoured whey protein concentrate (wpc) at a good price (product of New Zealand, no soy etc), so i picked a bag up.
i have never used wpc, so i had no idea what it tastes like. last time i used a protein powder (must be nearly a year a go now) it was unflavoured pea protein, which did not have much taste & was easy to mask.
This wpc stuff tastes pretty foul to me....any ideas what i can use (or try) to cover the taste?
I think it would need to be pretty strong to mask the wpc taste. So far i have tried, maca powder, cinnamon powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, carrot juice.
(no need to suggest cocoa/cacao, i've given those up at the moment).
(best before date is Sept 2014, so not out-of-date).
