When did you see the biggest, visible change?

Three weeks in, I'll be honest and say 80/20. I'm "seeing" a number of six lbs lost so far (also achieved w.consistent muay thai), but I'm hitting that point where I need MORE motivation (a big thanks to huge carb/cheese cravings). You see, being paleo has proved beneficial for my mood swings, vagina problems, and overall-attitude. However, I want to SEE the change. Not determined for a strict "30 Day Challenge," cause I've already decided I want to incorporate it into my life, permanently. Long story short - at what point did you see the biggest, VISIBLE change?

I'd say feeling it is better than seeing, but in short it depends. Take before and after pics (say maybe every thirty days). I did this for the first time in my life while trying out a new lifting protocol this year. Fact is you look at yourself everyday so you probably won't SEE your changes until you compare photos taken on like a monthly basis or something.

Well, I went 100% paleo around last January when I moved out with a paleo roomate and we both NEVER both any grain and dairy at that point (though I added dairy back since then from cheese).

After that, in February I went travelling and I ate pizza for the first time in a long time and I FELT SICK. After a few days of eating a bit of pizza it stopped happening but when I came back home it really drilled the point of how unhealthy grains must be if my body made me feel so bad after that...

As far as carb cravings, you can eat sweet potato/yams etc. It's mostly important to not focus on bad carbs (grains, processed foods). Also, I do Muay Thay as well and you spend a lot of energy... Making adding sources of carbs (potatoes/yams/fruits once again) to your diet not a big deal since you are burning them up.
