Is anyone here on a VLC diet AFTER reaching their weight loss goal?

People go on VLC diets mainly for weight loss (IMHO) - are there any people here still on the VLC diet AFTER achieving their weight loss goal??

IF yes can you describe how you shifted to maintainence.

I'm constantly in ketosis, sometimes VLC, sometimes just LC but never Zero Carb. I've been at my goal weight for years now.

I didn't down vote this but I personally got down to my goal bf% in ketosis. I chose to start adding carbs to put on muscle though

I dont really support vlc anymore, it does make me irritable, destroys gym performance, crushes sex drive, doesnt do much good for my hormones or thyroid. My keto days are in the past, sure I lost a lot of weight, but saying that I am still on my weight loss journey, probably around 12% bf now and am continueing to lose despite increasing carbs especially pwo

I managed this for a little while by carrying around a jar of ghee and/or adding a half stick of butter to whatever I was eating. The calories we were getting from our bodys' fat deposits now have to come from food. The drawback is that VLC, as well as our habit of dieting, usually brings us to the point where we are habitual under eaters and we just don't get hungry enough.

I suspect you will need to add at least some carbohydrate because I started feeling off just eating all that extra fat. A cup of pumpkin, for instance, has around 20g of carbs and mixes really well with a half stick of butter when heated. Add some cinnamon and stevia, and you've got a pretty nice treat.

Almost no one (99%) makes it to their goal BF% doing VLC. There are some that make it to their target weight doing VLC but those people are typically skinny fat with 20%+BF.

Losing bodyfat is all about burning more kcals than you consume. Why VLC and make yourself miserable in the process?
