Not any professional training , but i recently started doing lunges and squats for about 3 days for 35 minutes. And does that mean that i should add in cardio ? And Thanks , is there anything that you'd recommend me eating ?

Madeline, how old are you? You may gain some weight as you continue to grow and develop.

Please note that you do not get to choose where you will gain weight. Increasing your intake of nutrient and calorie dense foods may help, but it won't necessarily go where you want it to. Stop being envious of other girls and embrace your own body.

Having a high metabolism is fine. Nutrient malabsorption would be problematic. Paleo will help with this by allowing your gut to heal and your body to get what it needs from the food you eat. You can mess up your metabolism with just about any kind of stress, but I don't recommend it.

Safe starches, healthy fats, adequate protein are all part of a diet your body can use to gain mass. And if that doesn't work, add some dairy into the mix, if you tolerate it.

do you do any strength training at all? that will help add muscle. i have cut out most cardio that i used to do because it's counterproductive to me weight gain.

your BMI is 18.2 which isn't bad. 18.5 is normal so you are right there basically.

If you are really concerned with gaining weight, you can start eating more fruit, particularly bananas, as well as adding fats and oil to all your meals; i.e. coconut oil, olive oil, avocados.
