Hack my confidence

Hi primates

I've been paleo for almost two months now, and I enjoy this way of living. I can feel a significant difference in energi and happiness. But I have weight issues on the other side of the scale than usually:

Im 186 cm i think, maybe 184 (as my passport says) I dont have that long a ruler, though.

Before i went paleo I weight around 70 kg now after these two months I have lost some of the fast food and sweets fat on my stomach (which is a good thing i suppose?) I now weigh 68,2 and Im getting nervous about this development.

I work out 2-3 times a week on average, and I can feel my muscles grow, but it doesnt show a lot yet.

How should I feel about my body with a BMI on 19,7. I hate being too skinny, and the possibility of actually losing more weight scares me alot. I try to add extra calories through smoothies as much as I can, but still, I lose weight. I dont wanna be underweight with a healthy lifestyle. That would be ridiculous. (and unhealthy right?)

Please hack my confidence and tip me how to proceed. I would really appreciate it. :)

Im not sure what 1MR and 5MR are. Is it powder based weight gain? In my routine I do 3-4 sets of 10 reps with the maximum weight i can lift. This works okay for me, i can see i maximizes my lifts, but the big changes are a bit slow in there way, i think.

than you will most likely loose weight.. and it not nessaraly crossfit, itsd just weight lifting, most crossfit atheletes go within a 1MR-5RM, if you want gaing weight, lifting between 8-12 reps

I dont crossfit. After having my two cruciate ligaments restored along with an outer ligament in my knee (at the same time - trampoline accident years back) I really have to be careful not to put too much strain on my knee. Therefore Im going with a more boring and traditional workout routine with machines, rowing and cycling.

In the words of Troy McClure: get confident, stupid!

Seriously, though, there is no good set of numbers that you should ever go by. Weight, BMI, etc are all meaningless when you talk about an individual (they're only valid in population averages). So what you need to do is go by how you look, feel, and perform. Only you know the answers to that. Then you adjust your diet to progress towards the goals that you have. There is no right answer for everyone, and even the right answer for you can change over time as your goals change.

2kg in two months? I think you are making too much of this. Weight can swing a few kg from one day to the next. If you had dropped 8-10kg then I might be concerned.

Ignore the scale, ignore bmi. Focus on how you feel and how your clothes fit.
