Hi I'm interested in nutrient-timing and powerlifting, obviously. I don't know much about the first. Searching the site I see nutrient-timing related comments in the answers to related questions, but I'm interested in seeing them discussed on one thread.
Powerlifters, how do you time your food and why?
In case it matters, I'm on-again off-again paleo. I include dairy and whey and casein-based protein shakes, but as I'm lactose intolerant and don't like the taste of milk I don't go crazy with it.

I take bcaa's about 15 minutes before workout, then post workout I keep my meal typical paleo, with a slight adjustment of carbs and fat. Less fat and more starchy carbs for quicker absorption. Usually will add sweet potatoes, pumpkin, or butternut squash.
