I am in the process of losing weight (approximately 2 pounds per week) and I was wondering if this results to the release of vitamin D which was stored in my fat tissue. So, perhaps, I should stop supplementing with D3. I know, the safest way to know is to check my blood levels, but I would like to hear your thoughts on this assumption.

Slightly related: When you lose weight, you can increase blood level of vitamin D through sun exposure more easily because when you're fat the vitamin D generated is stored in the huge amount of fat you have. When you're skinny, you don't have as much fat where you would store vitamin D so it goes to the bloodstream.
