I'm a strong believer in the "don't drink your food" camp or "we're adults, we don't drink baby-food" ideology. Extremely processed foods like protein isolates are the epitome of what is not paleo.

... having said that, however: do what works for you. Of all the stuff you could be putting in your body that isn't "ideologically sound" paleo-wise, whey protein is not something to worry about much.

I would suggest that you look into finding real food sources of dense protein so that you don't need products like these. But again, I wouldn't sweat this one much.

A. It shouldn't matter what people on here think. B. Whey is not technically Paleo, but again. .. that shouldn't matter. C. Whey concentrate that is non-denatured and free of bullshit additives has many health benefits. Do a quick search on here for "whey concentrate," and you will find a few good conversations about its awesomeness.
