Hi this is my first day on paleo so far: Breakfast 10 hazelnuts 1 orange and green tea Lunch- salmon and fennel and salad Dinner- zuchini cooked in olive oil and some red meat! How does it sound? Anything I am doing wrong! I really have to loose about 3 kilos and really want to detoxify my body! I have to say i am lucky, I have a great metabolism but I usually eat really terribly taking advantage of the fact that I dont gain weight! I can eat like 5 grabola bars in a day or a whole ice cream box. I really want to change my eating habits though! Lets hope I can make it!

The one thing that I think made the biggest difference for me was a high protein, low carb breakfast every day. Initially this meant 2 or 3 eggs, either fried or in an omlette. This started the day with a satisfying, nutritious meal and made it easy to control cravings and portions.
It took a good 30 or 40 days to really feel comfortable with the diet, initially I overdid the low-carb, high-fat thing, and got tired of it for a while, but stuck with it. I used to be really sensitive to carbs (especially in the morning), but after sticking to the diet for a few months I could have more carbs without any problems.
Frequent exercise is also a key for me, I need to work out 3-4x per week or I don't feel right, regardless of what I'm eating. Regular, vigorous exercise also allows you to be more forgiving with your diet, the occasional cheat or high carb meal is not much of a problem if you're getting good workouts in. I am unable to lose weight when I'm not exercising unless I absolutely starve myself.

That wouldn't fill me up at all. My advice is to eat some more, especially for breakfast. You'll learn what foods you feel best/worst on so I recommend just playing around with different foods. As long as you are eating real foods then your body will tell you what and how much it wants.
