Since I added MCT oil to my diet, I am finally starting to loose the weight I put on this winter after trying to rebond with butter (definitely not for me) I am loosing inches which is great (knock on wood), but other things are not so great. My tongue is almost always whitish, and I am feeling really cold a lot. Also for the first time for years, just before and during my period I get a few of those nasty hormonal pimples that are just red and don't seem to want to go anywhere Is this because of low thyroid activity ? or is it something else I remember reading that ketosis can feed candida but I also remember reading that MCT oil can be antibacterial, so I am confused... or maybe it has nothing to do with candida... I really don't know What do you guys think (other than that, I eat mostly proteins both lean, less lean and organ meat, as well as broths and non starchy vegetables mostly lightly steamed and some raw, some coconut milk sometimes, with generous amounts of a good olive oil (I don't do well with more saturated fats, I have a pretty messed up lymphatic system). I eat fruit occasionally when I feel like it. Do yoga, take walks, bike and do a few push ups and squats here and there, nothing hardcore) Any thoughts and suggestions would be great
