Ketosis without refeeding?

Hi! So I'd like to start being in Ketosis to loose weight and beause I love steaks :) Is it necessary to do this refeed thing I've red about? I'm usually fine eating meat, fish and eggs and sometimes half an avocado (anything more kicks me out of ketosis).

You have no idea if someone will "do fine" in ketosis, as everyone's body reacts differently.

Safe carbs.....broccoli, squash, spinach, kale, sweet potato, leeks, pretty much any vegetable.

Why the down votes on this? Looks solid to me. Too much protien will also keep you from ketosis. Peter at Hyperlipid has some good info, as well as Peter Attia. No rice/potatoes.

You'll do fine in ketosis as long as you're not doing regular anaerobic excercise. I recommend you have a look at http://primalnorth.blogspot.ie/. There's some great tips and info about long term ketosis and paleo in general as well.

My word of caution is to experiment for a few weeks and see how you feel. Not knowing your activity level, ketosis doesn't work well for everyone. Also, women can sometimes have their hormones go out of whack when in ketosis. My recommendation would be to eat just enough safe carbs to not be fully in ketosis. Just avoid starchy veggies, and eat lots of healthy meats and veggies and you will see the weight come off as your damaged metabolism gets fixed.
