Hello, I just started Paleo. I’m on day 3, but I feel drained throughout the day. I run 4 days a week (T, TH, SAT, SUN) and weight lift 5 days a week (M-F). 2 days I run AND weight lift (T and TH).
Usually, I will eat this much in a day. I feel like it looks like a lot of food on paper, but I don’t feel like it really is that much when I’m eating. However, I am concerned that it may be too much food. I would like tips on how to improve the foods I have to feel more full and how to cut more calories if needed.
3 eggs, 1 small avocado, 1 tbsp butter, 2 carrots, 1/2 an onion, 8 oz almond milk
1 medium banana
Minced and cooked cauliflower, lamb, 3 tbsp hemp seeds
1 cup mixed, raw veggies (bell peppers, radish, cucumber, celery)
1 Sargento Colby jack cheese stick
2 chicken legs, 1 tbsp basil pesto, 1 medium red bell pepper, 1 medium tomato, sautéed bok choy, 1 tsbp olive oil
This is what I ate today. I don’t count calories, I eat based on listening to my body and it’s rumbles. Is this too much food? I am trying to lose weight.
