Want to gain weight

I want to gain weight. I'm a female, 5'10 and weigh 120Lbs. I'm on Day three of the Paleo Diet and I already lost 3 Lbs. Should I increase my intake of Carbs and protein?? Or just carbs?

Please edit question to include what you normally eat on a daily basis. But regardless of that information, I'd suggest eating more starchy carbs (rice and potatoes). Increase protein if you're lifting heavy.

Three days in? Most likely you lost water that your body was retaining. Give your self a bit more time before changing anything.

Think of foods that would naturally promote growth...

Eggs and milk are the literal building blocks of life.

I think you should wait for a bit and see how your body will react after it's adjusted to the diet. If you're eating less carbs than usually, which is common on the paleo diet your body will lose plenty of fluids that have been stored together with the glycogen.

If you continue to lose weight after 3-4 weeks I would increase the protein a bit, at least for me that helps me to eat a bit more. I hope you'll find the same benefits on the paleo diet that many of us have found!
