this thing is cool for bubbly water on demand, ( also less packaging waste than buying it). just stay far, far away from the flavor things they want to sell you. http://www.sodastreamusa.com/store.aspx?gclid=CLuUk9L_lLECFeEDQAodUHh-dQ

Was going to say this...although warm water still works, a little bit of ice can be snazzy.

I don't always add flavor to my water, but when I do, it's a lemon wedge.

carbonation. I get it in cans at Safeway or Frys. Just plain carbonated water.

I take a little lemon juice (fresh lemons, none of that bottled stuff), cucumber slices, and mint leaves and add them to a pitcher of water. Then I refrigerate that and let that the flavors get drawn out.

Tasty and refreshing on a hot day.

I take a quart of water add some fresh chopped ginger, a pinch of sea salt, 2Tbsp apple cider vinegar and maybe 1tsp honey - stir then let sit in fridge for a few hours. My entire family drinks this now.

I find Vodka to be a decent flavor mood enhancer with water...

In all seriousness, though, I can't stand water so most of my water consumption is in the guise of tea.

I usually add a dash of lemon or apple cider vinegar to my water (drink with a straw). I thought I'd hate the vinegar but it gives a mild pleasant appley taste so long as you don't put too much in.

Not strictly a water 'flavouring', but water kefir is good as a summer beverage. It tastes great and has probiotics too. After the first fermentation with the sugar water and kefir crystals I do a second ferment with dried fruit, apricots, cherries, ginger, lemon etc. They all taste amazing (except for the goji berry ferment - there's a reason no one sells gojiberryade).

I've made mint tea with fresh mint leaves and ginger tea with grated ginger root. I've only ever had these hot but now I'm inspired to try these as cold drinks too.

I muddle mints or lemonbalm into a big pitcher of water for the fridge every summer, all summer. Add some lemon juice to the lemonbalm, lime juice to the mints (maybe a few leaves of basil? Mm). Something different, really fresh. I find I drink less booze when I have my water jug on hand.

I like to make iced fruit teas. My favorite is Celestial Seasonings True Blueberry. Then I add a splash of lemon or lime.

I was introduced to "sassy water" (unfortunate name) awhile back and I've been drinking it daily since.

Pitcher of water 15 mint leaves 1T grated ginger 1 lemon sliced thinly 1 cucumber sliced thinly

Mix together and let sit overnight. Delicious and refreshing.
