should I get an NSF certified filter?

There's no flouride added to the water where I live (victoria, British Columbia), but there may be naturally occuring flouride. I don't know if I should be concerned with that. But then there's also chlorine.

Another concern is that there could be lead and other metals in the water from the pipes and so forth. But don't know how to verify this as there doesn't seem to be any information on it specific to my area.

I don't know what do you guys think I should do. Probably just go ahead and get some good filters eh??? And I understand shower filters are important too.. is that right?
