Lemon/Lime water in plastic jar?

Because water from "spring" sources has basically no electrolytes or minerals, for the past year or two I've been putting lemons and/or limes in the plastic gallon jugs of water in the fridge to mitigate this risk. It never really occurred to me that acidity of jugs might leach BPA. Should I be concerned? I have some glass jars but they have an aluminum lid so I don't know if that's just as bad. Thanks in advance for all the wonderful advice I'm sure ill be getting! :)

BPA-free alternatives aren't better than BPA really. They're just less tested. BPA itself is not that bad, there's not a whole lot of good evidence against it.

I would recommend going for BPA-free bottles or Lemon Reusable Glass Beverage Bottles
