How to stave off milk cravings?

So thanks to the very helpful people here, I've cut out eggs under suspected allergy, and already feel better. Milk was better at first, but it's starting to upset my body again, more so than before, so I'd like to cut that too. However, milk is virtually all I drink, aside from water every once in a while. It's like an addiction. Even when trying to cut it, I can't leave it for 48 hours, usually not even 24. So my question is, what's the best way to convert from milk to water and stop the insane cravings for milk? I'm trying to keep to just meat, when hungry, with the occasional potato for a little while, until my body stabilizes and I can try adding in other things, one at a time. So no almond or coconut milk until then either. Or tea. Thanks in advance!

Don't stave. Start making homemade kefir. It is a gold mine economically and health-wise and it is very easy to do. I practically live off of kefir. With very little effort I can make pasteurized milk that is worth about $.25 per pound (I did the math) become kefir that has got to be worth at least $7.00 or $8.00 per pound or even more. But that value is for you and your family alone. You can't sell it to others. Instead of having to pay for salmon at $7.00 per pound or more, I pay $.25 per pound for pasteurized milk and turn it into a fountain of youth for me.

I tend to want less dairy when I'm taking cal-mag citrate and getting enough non-dairy fats.

In my experience cold turkey usually works better than trying to ween off of something. Go to the store and get enough stuff so that you won't need to go back for a week. Just don't get any milk..if it's not in the fridge you can't drink it.
