Using coconut oil for every cleansing aspect?

I am a male that likes to keep it simple. Would it be possible for me to just use coconut oil as a body wash, face wash, and a hair wash? What brand and what type of coconut oil would be best? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

I use it for almost everything. It works great as a sunscreen, and I also use it as a total body moisturizer almost every day. I also use it for oil pulling about 3 times a week, and in my morning coffee every day. I also cook at least one meal a day in it. Hands down, the best deal I have found is from??Costco; they sell an organic coconut oil in 2 - 42 oz tubs for 25$. I bought them back on January 15th and am about 2/3 of the way through the second tub now (3 months later).??

I do not wash my skin with it, for that I use epsom salt which I like very well. If you use the fine grain variety it does a great job of exfoliating, and the salt leaves your skin quite sof afterwards. As I mentioned above, I do moisturize with coconut oil after showering.??

Washing your face and body with coconut oil is plausible. Just warm a small amount of the oil between your palms and then gently but firmly massage it into your skin for 2-3 minutes. Then gently wipe it off with a well-wrung warm-to-hot facecloth. Rinse and wipe again as necessary.

Coconut oil is great for a deep conditioner for your hair, but not for regular washing. It doesn't come out very easily. For regular washing and conditioning, try washing with a paste made from baking soda and water. Then massage apple cider vinegar into your hair and scalp for an all natural conditioner.

My favorite coconut oil for cooking and using on my skin is Perfect Coconut Oil. It is extra-virgin, organic, and unrefined - a great product from a concientious company. Check it out here.
