I'm a 5' 7", 130lb, 20 year old female. Not overweight by any means, but I'm trying to get back down to my 115lb fighting weight in a way that is healthy and sustainable. I understand the benefits to a VLC paleo diet when trying to cut weight, but my challenge comes from the fact that I live in a sorority house. Part of my dues go towards three meals a day, which I eat only if they can be made "paleo friendly" with the exemption of not having access to organic meats. I supplement with my own groceries, but my only means of meal prep are my mini fridge, a blender, egg cooker (steamer), and the microwave down stairs, which makes cooking any protein challenging. Most of my meals consist of eggs, organic lunch meats, avocado, coconut milk, nuts (a small amount), canned sea food (tuna, sardines, oysters) and my carb count comes from one green smoothie (banana, apple, kale, and spinach) each week day morning. I do two days of cardio, two of TRX strength training, one of yoga, and try to remain generally active throughout my days (lots of walking around campus and hiking on the weekends).
So my question is, any suggestions for making my meals more optimal for weight loss given my cooking limitations?
