Food Matrix for vitamins and minerals?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone has come across any great resources of food matrix-like graphs (or even just sites that list them), that have like common fruits, veggies, meats, etc. and where they rank as far as the vitamins/ minerals they contain? I find myself constantly looking foods and/or vitamins/ minerals up online to see what they contain/ where I can find the nutrients and it's getting kind of annoying. For example, the doc told me the other day I was anemic and needed to take Fe supplements, but it caused constipation and I needed more fiber... so I was like well what foods do I have here that can up my intake of both Fe and fiber? Or what foods should I buy? Things like that. Or if I don't get sun for the day and need foods rich in Vit. D, or if my supplements require me to take with Vit. C, etc. Any suggestions would be great. A lot of the resources I have found include non-paleo things, so it adds to the frustration.

And... would anyone be interested in me making a peleo one myself after extensive research and sharing it? I'm a project manager and this would be a fantastic resource for people who don't feel like googling the same information over and over...

Very very handy. I'm gonna do some research to see if they have an app, that would be just as handy as a matrix! Thanks!

Hey! So after looking at the links above, it actually occurred to me that an online database or an App would be a way better answer with the technology available. I stumbled across this guy right here, http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/myfood-nutrition-facts/id396836856?mt=8 and I recommend anyone and everyone get it. Um, Plus side: you can make the search to be completely Paleo! Take Milk, cheese, beans, grains, etc. off the list of things to search in, and for only $1.99 you can also search by nutrient (so worth it). My only complaint is I wish that they included some more obscure (but important) nutrients, like Iodine, but maybe it will come in future updates. Hope this helped you guys out!
