Lots of choline for sure (3 egg yolks per day and 3-4 oz cooked beef liver once weekly). The beef liver will take care of your A requirements. Consider taking enough D3 to get your blood levels to 45-50 ng/mL (112.5-125 nmol) and plenty of K (butter, cheese and possibly even MK4 and MK7 supps).

Most importantly, avoid polyunsaturated fatty acids. Eat a little vitamin A. the only reason to avoid it is if you have hypervitaminosis A which is unlikely. PUFAs plus alcohol or PUFA plus fructose is Very Bad for Your Liver. Anyway, there is a lot you can do for liver support. Here are two great posts about liver support: http://highbrowpaleo.com/category/drinking/

If you have problems due to vitamin A excess, I would definitely recommend avoiding vitamin A.

How much did you take, how do you know your liver is damaged?

Vitamin A dosing can really no longer be looked at in isolation. We know now that Vitamin A, Vit D, and Vit K2 are synergistic and each protects from overdoses of the other.

I try to get 5000 iu Vit D daily, 10000 iu Vit A (retinol from food), and 1000mcg K2-MK4 and 100mcg K2-MK7.

This combo seem pretty adequate and the A and D work together and prevent toxicity due to either.

If you have liver damage make sure you get enough choline (at least 550mg per day if your male). Eat eggs yolks and beef liver. Choline has been shown to cure fatty liver disease.

If by retinoid you mean Accutane, which isn't actually Vitamin A btw, then yes I would still consume vitamin A. Vitamin A is an essential nutrient after all.
