What is MCT oil derived from?

Vitamin D is from Lanolin and MCT oil. Anyone know what they come and how it's put into a bottle and sold as Vit. D?

MCT is a fraction of coconut oil.

I've always though MCT oil was coconut oil. prolly pretty refined but. MCT = medium chain trigs no?

Vitamin d is made from cholesterol. Coconut oil is a mix of oils with MCT being the largest component
