I am going to be outside 24 hours a day until November, in California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, DC, Delaware and Connecticut. Should I bother continuing with vitamin D supplementation? How about cod liver oil?
Also, if anyone in any of those states can suggest local specialties, I'm interested!

Depends. There are many variables.
Are you sunbathing daily in a swimsuit or shorts for at least 20 min between 11-2 with a fair complexion? Then probably not for the D3.
If you can't get enough liver on the road, then maybe to the CLO. Or you could eat a lot of colorful veggies/dark leafy greens, instead. Don't forget K2 and Magnesium!
