I would trade a lot of things to spend a day with Mark, I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Have you seen this yet? Have you shared it? What did you think?

What really amazes me is that bartleby had not even watched the video before making a comment. What a waste of space. lol

This shouldn't be downvoted. Warren didn't say that "those who have expressed positivity here are dumb, gullible sycophants". If you think he did you need to check yourself.

Yes the question was about the video and I gave my opnion on it. If you don't like it, tough. The paleo or primal diets are not going to start making you think how you can change your life for the better. Any normal human being would have already been doing that already no matter what kind of food they are eating.

The question was about the video, not the dude, and anyhow, implying that we're all Yay Mark Yay is silly. You don't have to love him, or even care - but nobody in this thread ever asserted that his thoughts were particularly original. Mean spirited is a good word for this. Now, if you want to talk about latching onto gurus, there is that Quilt nonsense...

Not watched the video. Never vote down. Rarely vote up, frankly. But, if I did vote down I would vote this down because it's excessively mean spirited and seems underpinned by the assumption that those who have expressed positivity here are dumb, gullible sycophants. Which they are not.

I don't understand why you get down voted and no one says why. Simply disagreeing is not a reason to down vote, is it? You answered the question that was asked honestly, and it's an opinion question. WTF this site is crazy sometimes.

Just watched it. I think it's great, and very true. I recently left my job living downtown in a big city to move to a village in rural India, and I totally get it. The constant various birds chirping; lizards, frogs, dogs and butterflies everywhere; the urge to play outside more (at dusk. The yellow light is TOO hot right now); to just walk around in the dirt and feel connected to the earth. It's all new to me and it just feels...right.

Just watched it, thanks for posting.

My path was sort of figuring things out independently as best I could, to MDA only for quite a while where everything started to click, to here and everywhere else.

Kind of feels funny to realize in retrospect that MDA was a side door into a bigger world.

Doubt anything else will supplant MDA as my go to source - like LC, he vets everything pretty well, and it's very even keeled.

That was mind-numbingly boring. OK so the guy has written a diet book that many people are having success with but does that mean we should hang on his every word as if his other thoughts are original? I really don't get this latching onto gurus?
