My spider veins are getting worse on Paleo. I am pretty strict and have been at it for a few months now. Here is my typical diet:
Breakfast: Three poached eggs, half a large sweet potato with coconut oil and a small handful of pecans.
Lunch: pan seared Salmon fillet with kale or asparagus
Dinner: Sausage with copious peppers and onions, or maybe short ribs with cauliflower
Also: probably eat an avocado, a handful of nuts, and a little fruit at different points in the day
Supplements: Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Glucosamine
I've seen benefits from Paleo. My body composition is amazing(I'm a woman with abs.), my hair and eyelashes are growing like crazy, and my skin is softer and smoother, but the spider vein phenomenon is disturbing. It makes me feel that I am stressing my body in some way.
