OK so for 20 years I was as so regular I would sometimes run to the bathroom before an accident could occur. that was then. Now is a very different story. I have no urge to go at all. I remind myself to go and then its fine. Do I struggle? nope. but its a long wait... I was always hungry before eating 4-6 times a day on average but on paleo and IF i'm eating twice a day with little hunger.

while I get all that I'm still going maybe twice a week now and there is no urge to go.

Is it just because I have reduced waste that much? I'm 6'6 and 230lbs down from 270. what do you guys think?

increase the amount of leafy greens you are consuming totally commit. Keep your veggies high. i suggest. I think is like a superfood high in minerals and power. If you use this its ok. If you get stress through eating meat. try to go first with high plant based diet. and by time try a bit out which sort of meat works for you.

You are eating less volume and less fiber so that could contribute. Also, on high fiber diets, the body naturally stops the intestinal contractions that push food along. Over time not eating so much fiber, the body will usually naturally ramp up contractions to push food along faster. It's a natural process. Doesn't sound to me like any serious problem as long as you feel fine and everything proceeds smoothly when it needs to. It takes the body a while to totally adapt to a whole new system and fine tune the little details, a least a few months. Personally, I go regularly but rarely have to go urgently unless I drank a lot of water on an empty stomach. The thing is, you should be peeing regularly, if not, I agree not enough water. And when you pee, is that not when you normally let anything else out as well? Most of the time, when I go, it is due to the urge to pee and the other stuff is just an add on. (funny I never even thought of that before-it's amazing what we end up talking about on this board sometimes!)

Something like that happened to me, too. At first I thought that something was wrong because I wasn't going every day like I was used to. But I felt fine, so I just chalked it up to the change in my diet. I go about 3 times per week now and I feel just fine, so I figure that is my new normal.

I found the same thing when I switched from a vegetarian diet for 2.5 years to a SAD diet to Paleo.

If it is something that concerns you you can increase the amount of leafy greens you are consuming and you should gain more regularity. You should also try to consume more water.

Here is a recipe recommendation on Kale:
