Anyone on an all animal diet?

Does anyone here eat only animal products?

Now & then i like veggies & some fruit as they are refreshing, especially raw, but i still keep going off them & just want to eat animal products

I used to eat fish/veggies & not much else but since switching to lots of red meat, pork etc my palate has changed & all i want is eggs, steak, lamb, fish, liver pate, cheese etc...

I used to eat massive salads daily now i just can't bring myself to do it, the texture & taste are just totally unappealing, whats happening to me!?

Is it possible to get all essential nutrients from just animal? Organs included obviously...The reason i am curious is, i love animal protein, i eat veg because it has vitamins & minerals. I would love some evidence that i could eat only animal & thrive.

Not me, but nothing's wrong with an all-animal diet. As long as muscle meats aren't the only things you eat, it's fine.

I too love animal protein. I would honestly eat lamb for breakfast dinner & tea..maybe with some lamb & eggs as snacks (haha) Unfortunately it's not that simple, we need variety..like Matt 11 says..there's beneficial stuff in plants that we need.

Yeah i do think fruits & veggies are good for you even if its mainly through hormesis & not much actual nutrition, but since eating more meat my taste for them has plummeted, especially cooked veggies. Maybe my body is telling me to stick to certain types of food over others for a while, i don't think i could just eat meat, offal & broth long term!

I wouldn't recommend it, you'd be missing out millions of possibly beneficial chemical compounds found in plants.

I too, only eat 90% animal products in my diet! Every now and again i throw in some onions or sweet potato, but i do not want or feel like i need to eat many vegetables to maintain my diet. Would also like to see some answers on this!

I've had days where I've eaten nothing but meat for a week or two on straight, and felt grossed out by anything else, and then a few days later, that changed and I craved veggies. I suspect it has something to do with craving zinc as muscle meats have more zinc.

I've eaten nothing but high fat grassfed meat for the past year! 6 months ago I started eating my meat raw and noticed additional health and digestion benefits.

My health has improved tremendously. I have no vitamin/ mineral deficiencies and will likely never go back to eat fruits or vegetables.

I eat almost all meats, sometimes veggies with lunch or dinner, and most of the time they're something starchy like carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, white rice (not really veggie but it's a safe starch), and I try to do some steamed broccoli once or twice a week for extra minerals, but these veggies are always covered in GF butter and MCT oil for fats lol. you do want to have at least some starches in your meals at night, and it's best especially for women to do a big starch meal at least once or twice a week, otherwise you'll start bumping up cortisol to induce gluconeogenesis for the 25% of your brain that needs glucose and your red blood cells. Also extremely low carb for long term causes thyroid down regulation, especially in women.

With THAT being said, make sure you're eating lots of FAT vs the protein, because excess protein is a waste unless you're exercising a ton, and the fat is your body's best energy source, so more fat with your meals ;)

Its like that there are many lover of non-veg who always prefer non veg rather than veg. But i would say eating non veg 2-3times in a week is good than daily.
