Ellen Degeneres recently admitted to having eggs from a neighbours "happy chickens" and of course caused an uproar in the vegan community and blogosphere.

and heres another famous "now former:" vegan who couldnt resist her paleo humanity any longer..

http://alexandrajamieson.com/im-not-vegan-anymore/ (ex-wife of Supersize guy BTW)

Who thinks Bill Clintons might soon follow suit..and Paleotize ? Vegas odds anyone..? also as a side-note.. doesnt it seem that after his weight-loss he looks weaker, older and feebler..?

***There???s an old saying, ???If you don???t stand for something, you???ll fall for anything.??? Unfortunately, it???s probably got things exactly backward. The more you stand for and the more beliefs you strongly hold, the more likely you are to fall for anything???anything that confirms your existing beliefs.

There???s only one way to fight back, to not fall for anything: skepticism. Skepticism about everything???what you ???know,??? what you believe, even your own motives???is one of the most critical habits of mind to cultivate***

@mary, funny how when folks lose weight to get down to a normal weight later in life we see them as aging a lot. Not to mention, it's been 20 years since Clinton was first elected, I remember him being quite youthful looking back then, but 20 years will do that to you!

It's not the burgers, it's the fries.

good point..well at least hes getting some fish so thats a good thing. Years and years of all those fast food hamburgers did lots of damage. Bet his chef sneaks in all kinds of cream and eggs unbeknownst to him .. jk

I'd bet against Bill going Paleo.

Clinton is not the average healthy person, but a survivor of major heart surgery.

The Ornish vegan diet (plus a slab of fish a week, in Clinton's case) might eventually be found to be better for those with CVD.

Were I he and had to gamble my own life on it, I would stay with Ornish vegan. He can afford the chefs to make that sawdust/cardboard/lawn-grass diet actually taste pretty good.
