I agree about the more neurotic people seeming less healthy, but not sure about the former statement though. But yeah I was eating Greek yogurt (Skyr actually) and sometimes kefir just around 2 weeks ago. I'm not neurotically denying dairy. I ended up using this brown rice protein powder and figured what the hell I'll go dairy free indeterminately, and I've just been riding out minus a small frozen yogurt a last Sunday. But yeah I'll add it back in- it's a pain in the ass not eating Siggi's Skyr and berries after dinner anyways.

That's a long way of saying, not necessarily.

Some of the healthiest looking people I know know the least about nutrition and rather listen to their instincts. Also, some of the sickliest malnourished people I know are neurotic about food. Because of that I am tending to give less dietary recommendations other than people should tend towards whole foods, tend away from refined white grains, away from high pufa seed oils and away from HFCS. I think people should tend towards at least MEETING rda's for minerals/vitamins, eat a variety of meats and vegetables and listen to their instincts when it comes to more specifics.

As far as I know you're maintaining weight at the moment. Also if recollection serves me right you were eating lowfat greek yogurt less than a month ago. I'll assume your calcium intake got cut into maybe half of what it was before. Assuming an otherwise balanced diet it could take considerable time before you might notice negative effects from lack of calcium. IMHO, you'll probably naturally start craving higher calcium foods periodically eventually and as long as you aren't neurotically denying dairy cravings because of an irrational food phobia it's perfectly healthy to cycle diff. foods.

That is a good point. Do green vegetables count? I also eat bone in sardines and salmon occasionally

That sounds familiar. Except recently I've been omitting the bovine excretions.

I only need meat, vegetables, tubers, dairy, nuts, fruit, legumes and occasional whole grains. Everyone is different though.

We need absorbable nutrients from foods which we can tolerate. One could be very healthy consuming nothing but raw milk, eggs and water.
