Varicose veins. Did Paleo help you get rid of 'em?

I'm wondering if anyone out there had improvement to varicose veins on the legs, either by simply following a paleo diet or by smart supplementation, or by following some procedure that doesn't include lasers, lightsabers or knives ;)

Paleo Diet can certainly help in varicose veins treatment if and only if you take it after due attention.

Heredity does not equal genetic. In this case I'd vote epigenetic at best. Try the supps.

You may want to read everything here about [email protected] supplementation - very interesting! http://wholehealthsource.blogspot.com/2008/06/vitamin-k2-menatetrenone-mk-4.html The comments are informative as well.

Thanks for that! I've had spider veins since I was about 10 or so. I will definitely try the K2 supplementation!

Not varicose veins, but I came across this here on PH - see Helen's response here about spider veins (it's the one with the most votes).

I've had varicose veins in my legs since I was ~40. In my case, they're probably genetic, because they run in the family. Hereditary varicose veins are probably due to defective valves in the leg veins.

My varicose veins have gradually gotten worse, despite wearing support stockings at work for several years and following a paleoish diet for the past 2 years. I haven't tried high dose vitamin K2 yet.
