I've started experiencing dull vaginal pain + itching and pain/burning during urination from mixing Aloe Vera Juice in with my usual staple of water + lemon juice. I stopped adding in the Aloe Vera Juice for 24 hours and the pain went away, but immediately came back when I urinated for the first time after drinking water with a test splash of Aloe added in to be sure it was the cause.
Any ideas why Aloe Juice would have this effect?
It's the Lily brand with only Aloe Juice and a small amount of Citric acid. I only put in a splash .. maybe a tablespoon or two.. in about 8 ounces of water once a day.
I Googled and couldn't find any other cases of this. Could the Paleo diet have anything to do with this response?

I drink the same brand daily, about 4-5 oz total before meals, only side effect I notice is a quick passing stomachache about 15 minutes later.
I think your issue is arising from your body's pH level and the juice. Aloe is commonly used to balance the body's alkaline/acid balance. I'd research that avenue more and how it might be related to your reaction.
