Any advice for traveller to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, & Newfoundland?

My friend and I will pass through NB, then spending most of our time in NS and NFLD. We'll be staying and B and Bs, will have a cooler. Before I leave, I'll try to take some good quality non perishables. Any thoughts of good places to shop, such as organice farms? Any good suggestions of where to eat or what to avoid?
Thanks!

Seeing as I'm happy being a women, I'll avoid all sexual encounters with cod. Thanks for the info!

You can easily find wild smoked salmon, which I've heard, at least to those who enjoy it, should be worth more than gold per ounce.

Also look for salmon jerky...basically, you're on the ocean...get intimate with a couple pounds of lobster and make no apologies for it.

If you're feeling brave, try some fiddle heads and dulse OR periwinkles???but no matter what those Newfies tell you, kissing the cod does not make you a man, unless you plan to go to second base on it.

Enjoy your trip; it should be really pretty there this time of year!

Truth.

Only one. Eat Digby scallops morning, noon and night.

Have some wild blueberries on the side.
