Im heading down to Nassau, Bahama's at months end and wondering if anyone may help me stay Paleo while down south. restaurant ideas, in season foods, markets, etc.. would all help a great deal. The more info the better. Thank you kindly!

This was going to be my answer! Here's a little hint though. Avoid the restaurants in the tourist heavy areas (by the cruise liner docks and on the southern edge of the island with the casinos) and go down to Arawak Cay. There is a restaurant called Goldie's that has the best conch on the island and it is easily 1/2 the price you'll pay at other locations! The little peninsula is literally built atop discarded conch shells, so you know that they know their way around this sea critter :)

Two words: Conch Salad. Fresh conch, usually caught a minute before you consume it plus some fresh peppers and onion-- 'cooked' in lime juice. Insanely good and totally paleo.

yea. I'd imagine fruit is pretty cheap there. Staying paleo is - for me at least - pretty tough when travelling. Just remember that eating too many good carbs (fruits, veggies) is much better than eating grains. I guess im trying to say: Dont let the perfect get in the way of the good
