Cilantro is often-quoted as being a natural chelator, I don't buy that.

If you have a medicinally diagnosed heavy metal poisoning, I would work with a doctor to have appropriate chelation therapy. If self-diagnosed, I would try upping my intake of selenium, vitamin E -- but if it's not at toxic levels simply removing the source from your body will do.

Just curious if you know any specific ways to rid the body of heavy metals? I've hard garlic and... I forget which herb, parsley? Is that right? Any other heavy metal elimination strategies that are safe?

any sources of ketogenic? I've never heard that before, but given the process of parasites, I would actually expect that to slow down teh process, so I'd love to see the srouces. Thanks.

If your waistline is too large - above 35" for men or 30" for women - metabolic and CV disorders become much more common. Here's a typical population study, and a clinical article:

The treatment of obesity removes this toxic visceral fat from your body. Getting to a normal waistline is far more important for detoxification than any cleanse.

The most important way to detox is to clean up your gut. Breathing, sweating, peeing, and pooping are the main ways your body removes waste products. Eat a clean paleo diet, higher in fat. You can detox faster by eating more ketogenic. Increase your consumption of good clean mineral rich water. Move your body slow, and practice deep breathing to increase the blood flow in the GI tract. Peppermint tea, licorice root , and ginger are great for your gut. A great supplement to take is activated charcoal to absorb toxins. Don't be scared when your poo is black, that's what happens when you use this supplement. Let me know if that helps. @greylynowens

Drink lots of clean water, free of Chlorine and other additives. Don't fall for the various cleaning detoxing stuff they sell. You might also consider a quality probiotic for a few weeks or some Kefir/Yogurt if you like.

eat clean. Your body is wonderously efficent at "detoxing" and except for some specific exceptions (Heavy Metals, etc) needs only to have you stop consuming the toxin to rid itself of said toxin.
