Pollock from China?

I just bought some wild north pacific Pollock from Food Basics that was imported from China produced by Hai Yang and am wondering about the quality.

Basically you hear bad things from China's food industry and I'm hoping this pollock is alright to eat.

I noticed that this Pollock was ~$4.50/lb while highliner is much more, about ~$7/lb.

Any comments?

edit: Sodium Phosphate was listed on the label as an ingredient, I'm not sure about the others brands

edit: after further research it seems Sodium Phosphate can cause kidney and liver damage among various other problem so I am going to return that fish and check all the others types I bought
