I always save the bones to make into stock, but whenever I try to make bone broth, it turns out miserablly. It doesn't gel, it tastes horrible, it becomes murky and grainy...I just can't seem to get it right! Any tips out there?

I've recently been diagnosed with adrenal fatigue and I'm sure it's from years of not sleeping and drinking a lot of energy drinks, smoking, and alcohol PLUS all the added stress of life itself. I've been caffeine free now for 5 months and alcohol... (more)

I'll be cutting a chuck roast into 0.5" or 1" pieces, cooking in my pressure cooker, and FREEZING for future meals. Will it work better if I freeze the cooked beef cubes in broth, or dry? Should I freeze each 5oz portion in a ZIPLOCK BAG (having... (more)
When I made the (abrupt) switchover from (organic) SAD to Paleo, I suffered from constipation, something that continued appearing from time to time. What I have learnt is that, for me at least, the most important factor is my gut bacteria. Since... (more)

I'll add to the chorus of spending money on high-quality, naturally-raised, grass-fed red meats, except that I find it much cheaper to buy my meat this way! I would buy it anyway even if it were more expensive because 1) it's much better for me,... (more)
