How will you give thanks this Thanksgiving with your tribe?

Contained here is a truism I want to share with tonight before you give thanks with your tribe......... A goal that can be achieved in a single step is probably not very meaningful ??? or ambitious. There is no magic bullets in anything in life. There is not a pill for every ill, nor is there a a food /supplement for every ill either. Be thankful and go out and preach the things you have learned to keep yourself well. We all need to protect one another today from the ills of modern life. Be thankful that you're smart enough to get that. You belong to a tribe who is unconventional to begin with.

Start where you are right now. Do what you can right now, and use what you have at your disposal to do it. Live in the now. Drop excuses. Help your family and loved ones in any way you can. Be thankful for the ones you love and care about.

I know you want to help them......you love them. But, never violate your gut/your conscience. If you do, you will always regret it. Your spirit knows something your mind may not.

It's only at the precipice that we evolve, and only on the brink do we change.

I am thankful for my friends and family no matter whether they agree with me 100% of the time or not......You can not change the people around you but you can change the people you choose to be around. Have a great day with those you care about and become a starfish for your species.

@Donna, you better get on google...they don't credit you either. the concept of the subconcious recognizing what the conscious may not is hardly an original thought no matter how you word it.

you own this phrase? Can you show me where words are owned or sentiments bought and sold. Here is my thought for you today:Don’t worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you’ll have to ram them down people’s throats. - Howard Aiken Read this for clarification:http://www.copyrightlaws.com/copyright-qs-as/9-0-copyright-permissions/ You dont own an idea.......

Do you US guys get bloated eating thanksgiving just before christmas? I personally in the past have found christmas alone to be too much often in terms of feasting. Must be hard work having two feasts next to each other...

Whatever your health situation is today, actions, not plans, will generate the lessons that help you test your hypotheses against reality of your health. Actions always help you discover where you want to go in wellness, and how to get there quickly.

Jack, Great Question..!

Gratitude is the greatest experience that one can have ??? not to anybody in particular - simple gratitude for this whole existence. These birds, these beautiful trees, this whole existence is so beautiful that not to feel gratitude about it is to remain blind, ignorant, unaware.

Gratitude is the only prayer. All other prayers are just man-made. Gratitude is not a word, it is a deep feeling in the very center of your spirit.

Gratitude is a totally different phenomenon ??? not in the dictionaries. In the dictionaries gratefulness, thankfulness, gratitude ??? all are put into the same category. Existence is not according to our dictionaries. Gratitude has no outward object, nor inward object. Gratitude is almost like a fragrance arising out of a flower. It is an experience not directed to anybody. Just as fragrance arises out of a flower and goes on, not knowing where, unaddressed; so, in the same way ??? unaddressed ??? arises gratitude.

When you reach to your spirit, where you are completely in the mood of the spring, and the flowers are showering on you, you suddenly feel a gratitude not directed to anybody, just like a fragrance arising out of you, just as incense brings ripples of smoke and fragrance, moving towards the unknown sky and disappearing.

If that gratitude is felt, everything is right.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

I loved reading these words this morning! What an appropriate way to start my Thanksgiving Day. As I read the words "Be thankful and go out and preach the things you have learned to keep yourself well", it hit me, this is what it is all about. This day, with my tribe to be humble with humility and most of all with gratitude.
As the above answered & stated "Gratitude is the only prayer". Thank you guys for the moment of clarity you brought to me this morning. It is very refreshing and todays Thanksgiving prayer will be poured out of my very spirit! Have a great Thanksgiving!

"Your spirit knows something your mind may not." Still plagiarizing me I see.

Definition of PLAGIARIZE transitive verb : to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own : use (another's production) without crediting the source intransitive verb : to commit literary theft : present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source

Doc., it is more about ethics and attributing a wonderful quote to the person who wrote it. It is a matter of honor and integrity and you don't seem to have much. You quote a lot of people, and they recognize their quotes. Heck you quote Dr. Seuss without attributing to him. It is becoming a bit pathetic. It says a lot about you that you not simply write "Someone wrote," or "So and so wrote."
