Weston Price re-enamalizing teeth protocal

Aren't the nutrients that he suggests mainly vitamin D and k2?

I'm asking because wouldn't it be just as well to forgo the fermented cod liver oil and use a vit k mk-4 butter/butter oil and get lots of sunshine? or does the vitamin A play a role in it as well?

I wonder though, weren't there some experiments that showed whole gains worse for teeth than refined grains?

Lol, I mean, when you say we don't know for sure, it's kinda like saying we don't know for sure if the light will come on when we flick a light switch. It's an inductively strong argument; but I'll concede it is possible that it could maybe not be vitamin k2 that is activator x, though after reading Chris's article on WAPF I'd be pretty surprised if it wasn't.

good points about isolating. We do not know FOR SURE if vit K was his activator X, however.

Price's own studies showed that k2 concentration varied 50 fold in grass fed cattle, you'd be hard pressed to test and find a reliable source for high concentration natural dairy sources of k2 imho.

I don't care if price foundation argues against isolate vitamins, most isolate vitamins don't have remarkable results in clinical settings. Vitamin D does not increase bmd significantly in elderly women, but k2 does, and when you have k2 and vit D together you're talking some serious synergy. It would be a bold claim to say that no vitamin in isolation could be good ever. That's more of a general rule that I wouldn't apply to something as important as Activator X, I'm sure if Price COULD have isolated k2-mk4 he would have, after all he spent time testing for and concentrating his butter oil.

@Greensun, I think kerrygold is a great choice for anyone, so if your teeth are already in great shape, just do that. If your teeth are in shitty shape though then you might want to consider supplementing with k2-mk4 from Thorne. I don't care where you get your butter, Price tested butter from all over the country, and only found a few locations where the butter had high vitamin k2 content. He then changed the butter to butter oil to concentrate it even further. If you really want to see results then I'd strongly suggest supplementing with k2-mk4, especially since most people don't have the

I mean, like I said, it is also the best price per mg that I have found yet, even though it is 60$ for 1 ounce of their k2-mk4 , per mg it is the best price I've found. I've bought 2 bottles of their stuff over the last 6-8 months or so. I can't afford 15 drops 3 times a day, but I do take at least 3 mg per day with a meal and vit d3. It comes recommended by me.

I would always rather go with whole foods, so organic valley butter(kerrygold was shown to be low in k) and or butter oil would be preferable. I just have bad reactions to fermented cod liver oil, infact any type of animal liver I consume gives me dry painful eyes. I've tried it several times

Yes, and I highly encourage you to grab some k2-mk4 to take with your d3, Thorne makes the best deal I think with their 1mg drops. If you find a better price for k2 mk4 than thorne please let me know actually, as I find them kind of expensive still.

I think the main problems for teeth/cavities arise from consuming refined grains and refined sugars. Other than this, high quality dairy both raw (milk/cream) and cooked (ghee/butter) along with lots of sunshine and some supplemental vitamin d should be a good start.
