Google+ and paleo: collaboration potential or yet another timesink?

I recently tried my hand at Google+ and found these exciting syngergies with paleo:

  1. Nothing
  2. More nothing

After some thought, here's an interesting potential use of Google+ for paleo: learning through video sharing! Google+ apparently allows people to watch youtube videos together, or have multi-participant video conferencing. For example, a bunch of people could watch a video together like Robert Lustig's "Sugar: The Bitter Truth" and chat about it on the side. If someone in the group knows biochem really well, all the better. Or if something interesting/funny/dumb happens on paleohacks, you can chat with your paleo friends about it.

My hunch is that the above is more of pipe dream than a realistic way to use technology with Paleo. Any other ideas out there?

there appears to be potential to while away a lot of screen time; but it could be time well spent.
