eating JUST beef tallow and vegetables? very little meat?

what do you think of a diet comprised mostly of grass fed beef fat, with vegetables, and a very little bit of protein? i feel like ive been eating too much over the last month and my colon is"backed up"... im battling acne and candida, so i cant just fast.

this sounds like a pretty standard ketogenic diet which i suspect is going to get a lot of support from this blog. if it works for you by all means go for it.

You're going to be deficient in a few things if you do that.

Eat whatever you'd like, as long as it is Paleo you will be fine.

My recommendation is that you start making bone broths and eating fermented foods it should help fix your gut.

Try supplementing magnesium if you feel "backed up".

I would get your thyroid tested to see if you don't have any problems there as I've found it leads to a lot more. Chris Kresser says that you can't have a healthy digestion without a healthy thyroid.

I'm battling acne and my recommendations have been amazing, personally I went low carb for 2 months with probiotics to kill off some bad guys and add in the new guys and I was able to add in starches(which previously caused acne) again. I am 90% clear!
