Do you use L-Citrulline supplement (for endothelial function improvement, for lipids management or any other reasons)?

What is your experience with this?

Are there any side effects / risks associated with it?

Thanks!

Citrulline dilates the blood vessels thus improving circulation and nutrient delivery to various muscles and organs. It is safe to use if you don't have low blood pressure. And it's good for you if you have high blood pressure.

There is however an article out there that I read months ago which stated that the brain has it's own "pressure regulator" and by constantly lowering your blood pressure by dilating the blood vessels, the brain actually reacts by constricting the blood flow to itself as a protective mechanism. The article basically asserted that long term usage of L-Citrullin or Citrulline Magnate can cause brain damage because of the constant constriction of the blood vessels in the brain.
