Hi,

I have recently taken Genova's DetoxiGenomic Profile. Apparently I am absent of the GSTM! Glutathione gene. If glutathione supplementation is useless, what would you recommend I do?

Regards,

Neil.

Ok, almost an hour ago, you saw that I edited out your link in your previous (and very first) answer. 6 minutes later, you post it again here. Go spam elsewhere, or at least be less obvious about it Mr. Screenname-is-my-website-name.

Glutathione supplementation is no longer useless. While most glutathione supplements are ineffective because they are broken down in the gut before they can be absorbed, you can overcome this. Either supplementing with the precursors of glutathione to enhance production within your body, like N acetylcysteine or R-alpha lipoic acid. Or directly with Acetyl Glutathione, it allows for the glutathione molecule to maintain its integrity through the digestive process. Meaning glutathione supplementation is more effective than ever before assuming you do it right. Hope this helps.
