5htp with maltodextrin??

I want to buy 5htp to start taking it daily. Where I live the only one i've been able to find from a brand called LongLife. The ingredient list says:
Bulking agent (cellulose m.c.), maltodextrine, vegetable magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.

What do you think? It would be ok if I buy this one or should I look for another one?

By the way, HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

Is there a reason you are taking 5-HTP? To my knowledge, it is not approved to treat any disease.

You should not be taking 5-htp daily.

Please read "the Mood Cure" if you are having emotional issues. 5-htp is okay for short term use, according to that book, not indefinite daily use

Also check out Ray Peat's article on these things if you have the energy: http://raypeat.com/articles/articles/serotonin-depression-aggression.shtml

if you aren't affected by starches, then i think it's fine.
