I was wandering if sunflower sprouts are ok for paleo diets I found out bean sprouts are NoNoNo for they are sprouted soy. But I couldn't find anything about sunflower and alfalfa sprouts. Also wanted to know about pea sprouts Thank you all for your answers in advance :)

Thank you. I am avoiding Soy on a general princip ... I have never believed soy products are good. Unless your generics have been adapted to it - lets say :))) if I was born Japanese :))))

It has been said before that bean sprouts are not as toxic as their dried bean seeds. So as long as it's mung bean sprouts, or sunflower sprouts, I think they'll be ok. I do have reservations about soy though, because they tend to be GMO, so I would avoid these. Regarding alfalfa, if they're not GMO (or they weren't sprayed Round-Up), I'd say they're probably ok.

Bean and legume sprouts are a good option to include in your paleo diet. I have been following a paleo diet for the past few years and I do eat sprouts fairly regularly. Beans and legumes are good sources of vegetable protein and allowing them to sprout removes most of their antinutrients. Sunflower sprouts are a good option, but I believe that alfalfa sprouts are mildly toxic.

I'd put spouts in the same box as greens, good, very paleo. Even sprouted legumes are likely fine. I'm a fan of sprouted broccoli myself, don't eat it nearly enough.
