I'm really feeling lost right now, I quit sugar about 2 weeks and had a headache for a while, then felt ridiculously tired for a while, then i felt absolutely amazing for about a day, then my stomach problems, discomfort/very mild pain after meals, flatulence, constipation/diarrhea, have been getting worse, my skin looks awful and i feel like shit
I mean what the hell is going on? Is it bad gut die off or something? I have slipped back into eating a little sugar now and again but generally still lower, quitting grains has done nothing for me.
I bought some kefir grains on ebay yesterday, I've read a lot about them curing people's ibs and I'm really pinning my hopes on this, I'm not sure what I'm going to do if they don't work, I feel like I've exhausted every avenue after this

have you had any testing done? so many things could be going on that have nothing to do with sugar. is your Vit D okay? i'm told its important for the brush layer of the intestines and this is the time of year we in the northern hemisphere are lacking it.
do you track the foods you eat to see if there is a correlation to how you feel hours later? a journal is your friend :)

My experience with doing a keto-centric paleo diet is that the first few days to the first month are awful. I had spent decades shoveling crappy food into my mouth and my body craves it, it loved it. Or thought it did at any rate. Meanwhile I was ended up fat, sick, and on my way to an early grave.
Cut all the sugars and the grains. If you are still having problems cut dairy. I have seen a few people mention potatoes on here, which I didn't even know were considered paleo. They cause problems for some, cut them... With the exception of sweet potatoes of course. Yum-yum!
Also, don't forget to cut out the unhealthy oils. Canola oil and vegetable oil. They are just horrendous, quite possibly worse than the grain or the sugars. By the way, that olive oil you buy that is imported from Italy? Yup, it is vegetable oil. Then add good fats back in. Once you start feeling better add dairy back in, see how you feel after.
Oh, yes... Water! Loads of the stuff, I drink 2-4L a day.

It's called DETOX. Stay off the sugar and you will pull through this phase.
