Too much sugar in red cabbage for for anti-candida/ anti-acne?

I'm starting a strict anti-acne and anti-candida diet. As you know, this means avoiding sugar, and staying just low Caen enough to stay out of ketosis ( I've read that candida feeds on ketones.)

The one food I'm worried about is red cabbage. I tend to eat a head if it a day, which can be over a pound, which can be 30+ grams of sugar and 40+ carbs.

I'm especially worried about the sugar content- if fruits should be avoided at the beginning of a candida diet, wouldn't red cabbage fall under the same category?

I'd worry more about the goitrogenic effects of that much cruciferous veggie intake rather than the sugar.

But you may want to add some starch if you're interested in an optimal anti-fungal diet. Please see perfecthealthdiet.com for more information.
