Messed up... consumed too much sugar in Trader Joe's flavored kefir

See title. I like to drink Trader Joe's dairy flavored kefir. It never occurred to me how much freaking sugar they add to this. One container= Apparently 92 grams!

And I drank it. In fact, I drank it regularly.

I weigh around 165-169 lbs, and do weightlifting/HIIT every other day. Tomorrow is exercise day, Will I be able to flush this shit out of my system, or is it 'too late'? Just how much in terms of exercise/fat loss am I going to be held back from this?

I"m going to buy the plain flavorless kind from now on. I'm just pissed at another 'd'oh' moment in my dieting struggles.

That is all it will do, and honestly, in terms of the many years we have to live... it's such a minute moment. One thing I love about Paleo is that I really don't have to think about it, and if I make a mistake, it's only that. Then I learn from it and move on. Grok didn't freak out about sugar. He had more important things to take his attention, and I'm sure you do too :)

I'm intrigued. Oh, and I just realized myfitnesspal notes I have a caloric deficit of 650 cals for today... so I guess it's a wash?

Apparently it adds up to 320 extra calories (not sure if I did that correctly)... I had about 1,740 calories today. I burn about 450 calories doing HIIT every other day. It's not the end of the world but in the long run it will just make losing that last molecule of fat take a little longer, I guess.

Will you be able to flush it out? No, sugar is metabolized very quickly. You probably won't be held back, if anything you might exercise better with the additional glycogen your body stored from the sugar. That's if you don't use the glycogen during sleep tonight. As far as fat loss it's totally dependent on your overall calories, utilization of calories, hormonal levels, and types/amount of exercise. I wouldn't give it a second thought, if it even matters.

Get some kefir grains and make your own. It's cheaper, "cleaner", and has a better probiotic profile. You'll know exactly what goes in it.

It's incredibly easy to make once you have the grains. Look for grains on Freecycle, eBay, Amazon, or Craigslist.
